So refreshing to see Dave Higgs' example described as an Austin Metro for a change! It is anything but that, but it certainly isn't a Metro 6R4!!!!!!!

Just asked and looks like just the Mini, the Celica and an RS1700t

That's a pretty poor effort.

They can get 6 cars on that stand.

Hadnt realised that a Mini was ever a group B car!!

Oh well there will be more Group B cars on the SHMAC stand...again!!

Great to see the Kadette Group B/S car being wheeled out. Have seen it on the hill at Goodwood but will be good to see it on something a bit more akin to a rally stage.

So whose going and on what days??

Saturday as usual to see the rally stage. The autojumble and other stalls will already have been strafed by the likes of CDM so know my money is safe in my pocket

Will be there one day. Friday or saturday. Saturday is looking to be more favorable for me.

Absolutely no problem if you want to meet on the SHMAC stand, but please remember other punters and try not to block up the stand completely!!!

There is a restaurant overlooking our stand we can all meet up in there too.

Autojumble, I will have my industrial sized mega whopper Dyson hoovering around on Thursday and Friday. All the best stuff would have been on our autojumble stand but we wont be on duty this year!!!

Lets hope the weather stays good for e rally stage on Sat & Sun

Hi Steve, I am progressing nicely with your Steve Palmer car and coincidently was going to suggest that I bring it with me to hand over to you! Sorry it's taken so long to get finished

It would be good to get the Rasmushaugen decals so I can get that one finished also. If its easier you can just email me the artwork save you printing them out and physically handing them over or posting them, up to you, let me know.

What format would you like it in? Would pdf be best? I use Serif Pageplus desk top publishing so may not be compatible in a Serif file type, but the conversion to pdf is very easy and if you have a pdf reader/ writer, you can access for any final fettling you may want.

I'm completely and utterly gutted, but I will not be able to make it to 2015 Race Retro, not even for one single day of it!!!!!!!

My work rota has me in all three days of the show, and despite putting in several holiday requests - for all three days, and individual days - I now find they were all declined for 'Operational Requirements' because M&S have a cyber sale on at the time, and therefore we are subject to a holiday embargo!

The alternative is a 'sicky', but knowing that I wanted time off over that weekend, it might not be advisable under the circumstances! I therefore wish you all the very best for a cracking show, hope your displays generate a great deal of interest, and that you manage to pick up a few bargains in the process.

See you all in 2016... ...even if I have to hand in my notice to attend!

Tell me about it mate! After having such an awesome time last year, this year will be the complete opposite...   ...complete and utter cold turkey!

Will defo catch up in the year though, as I am now looking at the next 12 months to ensure that I get my holiday requests in even before they think about holding a cyber sale! Once it's booked and been confirmed, they cannot cancel it.

Pride of Longbridge on 18th April, and Rallyday on TBC will both be booked at least, and some more...
