Race Retro 2012

I know this was posted before but just thought I would bring it up on here. I am going with my dad, got to get my 6R4/group b fix! I have got a model im collecting at the show from Chris Derbyshire but I havent got an email address for him. So if anyone has it and could let me know it would be appreciated. He wanted me to remind him to take my model with him

Its looking like we are going on the saturday. My work mate is coming along aswell but it depends if he can have the saturday night off work, if he can then definately saturday.

Thankfully I havent paid for the model so all is good

Just found the entry list for the rally stage on the weekend. A very promising lineup and great to see the ex Colin Mcrae 6R4 will be there

Oh times for live action stage are as follows
Session A - Saturday 25th Feb, 11.15am until 12.45pm
Session B - Saturday 25th Feb, 2.15pm until 3.45pm
Session C - Sunday 26th Feb, 11.15am until 12.45pm
Session D - Sunday 26th Feb, 2.15pm until 3.45pm

If I manage to see you at race retro on the saturday then I am going to have to hear you do a brummie accent!

I'm trying to get there over the weekend as well, although transport is an issue at the moment as I am without a 1/1th scale car!

The entry does look very impressive, apart from the lack of any 'real' factory MG Metro 6R4s - the three on the entry list are only 'replicas' unfortunately. But the sight of Adam's and Duncan's Rovers has surely got to be worth the effort.

Will keep you posted over the next couple of weeks lads - would be good to catch up for a brew or a burger!

Yes I have your 6R4 model ready to be collected at Race Retro. I have also nearly finished a Llewellin Starter 6R4 kit for you to look over.

Just putting my Group B display together for Race Retro. Currently there are just under 100 models in the two boxes. I thought I better drag out some 6R4s so there are 25+ included. I have just finished the Ternco car. I have had it years and only just got around to it.

Our model display will be in Hall 1 Stand J46 looking into the real Group B display.

Very good ..was that last year... cripes!!!

The Racing Car Transporter display went down a storm. Everyone was at the Modelworks stand asking for models of them. Adrian hadnt seen the display but came rushing down to find out what peole were talking about.

We are there all three days, I will be out watching the cars on Saturday and possibly Sunday.

If you want some better photos we can open up the displays for you, so please ask any of us on the stand.
