Thanks Juha.

The wheels on the Leyton House cars are white metal ones from Mark Lowe. I sprayed them white, then the outer rims were polished back to metal then lacqeured, just need to add wheel nut decals then they will be finished.

Great stuff, Simon. Congratulations!

I'm trying to keep up with you, but buying the wrong paint hasn't helped me! Embarassed I now have a can of Camel Trophy yellow to use on a Land Rover at some stage in the future!! The right colour (Tamiya T34) is on its way, though. Cool

I'm looking forward to having both the Camel and Leyton House cars side by side (I'm halfway there!) as the colours go neatly together Surprised .

What's next for you, Simon? I'm finishing off Russel Hale's 6R4 (D111 BEG) as rallied at Snetterton in December 1989. I'll be using some of the Camel Yellow paint to finish that model off before using Vitor's decals on the full-blown Camel car. Yippee! Smile

Cheers, Steve

Look forward to seeing your finished models Steve.

Next in my long line of projects....hmmmm hard to know which to do next, but I really must finish my John Stone 6R4, it's been sprayed for about 2 months so I really need to get on and get it finished Rolling Eyes I've got a couple of other projects about half done will post some pics up when they are finished

A pair of cracking new additions you have there Simon - top marks for a brace of very professionally finished models mate! Wink

Love the Camel car, and also the wheels on the Leyton House car too - a very nice touch keeping the rims metal and polishing them.

Congratulations on getting them finished.....
