Re: bmd's projects....or attempts should i say!
gary, many thanks m8, not too bad and will look ok in my vatanen collection i think....def not up to some of the standards of some of the guys on here, but i'm happy with her so far (wish my flamin wheels would arrive, they're a tad important lol!). pleased with the paint around the pillars etc, but could have been neater at the red/white join, the masking tape let me down a we bit, or should i say, my applying the tape lol!!?
anyway, if i had her booted up i could get back to the 205...........i'm not really trying to avoid her honest!!

Re: bmd's projects....or attempts should i say!
first draft of new airdam on the pug, more sanding required, fog-light holes to be either made or decalled in...plus i think she might need to be a wee bit less deep, maybe a mm or 2....and a more obvious division between the front valance and the new airdam needs created..... not sure yet... so far from finished, but anyway, this is the present state of play......

Re: bmd's projects....or attempts should i say!
Try bending it around something curved in the hottest water your hands can stand Billy, or maybe even score the back of it vertically several times on the curved sections.
Failing either of those techniques, use some thinner plastic card instead!
Coming together nicely though Billy!

Looking good Billy. If you need to bend the Plastic card stuff, hold it on a HOT water pipe. Gets good curves

Billy, for your window banner, if you are using the white decal paper that is fairly thin, do a white strip first, then place the one you have printed the blue on over the top. That way the white lettering will have two lots of white showing and should be less see through.

Re: bmd's projects....or attempts should i say!
ok guys, my next idea is to do ari's cossie escort from '94 acropolis rally....i've seen the 1:43 version....
want to do it in 1:18 using (hopefully) upscaled 1:24 decal set...just can't decide whether to strip/convert the following cossie from my collection,
or buy a road-going ut cossie with all the labour of making roll cage, interior, etc.... prob gonna sacrifice this one as i have the 3 other ut rally cossies in the main collection...
anyway, thats the plan, havent started yet as the 205 still giving me plenty to think about lol!!
comments/advice/warnings welcomed as always lads....
