Re: My GXI 9427 Collection
Sorry Brian
Beguin also did Antibes in 1987 with those plates
Maybe somebody on here can remember (the urban legend ?) where the plates appeared on two cars on two different events running at the same time in two different countries.

Re: My GXI 9427 Collection
Im keeping it Irish for the moment, Otto bases are getting scarce and pretty expensive to uses as bases. Unless Otto release another M3, I cant see the collection expanding beyond Irish cars.

The only one I know of is 6 or 7 DBL.
It was attached to a works MGB around 1963, that was racing in the US on the very same day it was rallying in Europe.
Bill Prices book doesnt actually state that it was.
I will find out

James
Ref the 6 or 7 DBL number plate on an MGB.
I have asked Bill Price about this and according to his records it is an urban myth.

Re: My GXI 9427 Collection
Its a stunning looking car. Looking forward to seeing on the stages.
Was sent a picture of the Meeghan model today. I both the Nesbitt and Meeghan cars being painted but they suffered a little accident the day I was to collect them so they are now being decaled and finished by the guy himself. I felt the Meeghan car was going to be filler just to complete the collection but its looking awesome, and will hold its own among the rest of the classic livery's in the collection

Which event is the Meegan car from ? If you have the photos I might see if Carlo can do 1/43 decals.

Re: My GXI 9427 Collection
Meeghan car is from cavan 94, the only event i could find pictures from.
Carlo will already have the artwork file, i couldnt find a picture of the rear so took added what i think should be there. An easy fix if an image pops up

Re: My GXI 9427 Collection
Took a few better pictures a few weeks ago. Meeghan model is now finished, although still need to see it in the flesh. Just the Nesbitt model left to complete the 6.
All lined up in the first cabinate. Looking forward to getting these complete. Need to get some nice lights to light up these displays as well. Any ideas?
