Mitsubishi Evo7 Gp N, Dani Sola, Rally Deutschland 2003, 1/18 AA

I guess it's quite been long that I haven't shared any finished code3 model in here. So, this is my latest code3 model finished late last night and had a beautiful day in here. So, took some photos...

the model I have build this time is a group N4 evo7 that Dani Sola & Alex Romani driven during the Rally Germany in 2003. They finished the rally first in their group and 22nd overall.

So, here below are the photos of the model I tried to replicate with some of my WIP's....

Just couple of wip's as I didn't have chance to took photos...
the base model is an AA 1/18 in yellow color. so, I only painted the red parts on the model and applied the decals. after the decal application, I applied clear coat to fix the decals.
for the interior I used an AA evo wrc plain body and painted all necessary parts into white and other colors. this time I also tried to give a used effect under the floor panel.
half of the exhaust is also scratch made of styrene rods...





tried on some wheels to match the original car. and decided to go with the impreza 2006 road car wheels...

Excellent build Omer I will have a look in the loft this weekend for the Evo VI

omer are you buying them as 1:18's or upscaling them?.....i know you said a while ago that you hadnt been able to do upscaling yet....... looking class m8!

these were from Kitcar43 in 1/18 scale.
and for other projects, I found a guy in Germany preparing the logos and print them for me using Alps, just received couple sets from him. the decals looks alright will give further suggestions after applying them to my new projects

ah nice one omer, didnt know they did 'big' ones too m8.....
