Thanks for the comments lads. This is my first go at doing a run of models, plus the first time printing my own decals. These are all printed off my own printer, except the white Recaro decal on the window, which i got someone else to print. They dont look too bad.

No plans for anymore 1/43s are present Donie. Think ill need a long break from the small ones once these are done

i forgot to say colin for doing this favour i want discount on my next spray job!!!

At long last ive finally got some models finished to send out. Anyone have any ideas on what to do with the bases, they are terrible as they are. Ive tried spraying them but white on the bases above still shows through.

Ive decided to price these at €65 + postage. Postage is rather expensive from Ireland, even more so since i would prefer to send these registered so i will work with each buyer to find the best deal for both of us.

As always, if anyone on the list doesnt want it anymore thats fine. I can understand peoples situations may have changed since they put there name down.

Since there is more work involved than i thought to get these done, i wont be saying when the next batch will be ready. So onto some pics

They look class Brian very tidy work there
Could you use black vinyl sticker to cover the base plates, if you got a roll you could cut it to suit,
I've tried to paint them base plates before and they are a ballix as the writing shows through,
I ended up sanding them down, priming and painting them but it was a lot of work just for a base plate

You could use emery paper choose a low grade cut it to size to fit the top and glue in place? This looks like tarmac?!

I am pretty sure I have my name down for one of these but cant remember the number. I will definately take one but no panic.

Simon, I was thinking of finding this thread and/or contacting Brian this lunchtime, but got distracted and didn't! I'm very much looking forward to having this one in one of my display cabinets and I'm an excited number 11 on the list... unless anyone has dropped out!?

On a different topic, Simon, are you heading to Lydden for the rallycross over the August Bank Holiday? I'm there for at least one day, if not both, and will be hoping that Rob Gibson will sign the model I've made of his 6R4 when he took me out for a spin in it 12 months previously! I've got the extra seat for me in it as well! Let me know if you're able to get there and we'll meet up again.

I had the week off work this week so had the shells already stripped and repainted ready to go on monday. Had hoped to get them cleared by thursday but only got them done this morning. Had forgot about all the little things to get them finished. So i now have 10 of these ready to go.

I have already PMd a few people tonight, dont worry if you havnt got a PM yet im contacting those on the list a few at a time so as to not miss any PMs.

Oh goody, goody!   

T'was my birthday last Tuesday (28th) and I have a cheque from the 'outlaws' that will just about cover my Meeke-mobile. I should be receiving my new display cabinet in the next few weeks too, so this is splendid timing, Brian! I look forward to hearing from you.
