You definitely have a good eye for the decal making, hope your arm heals soon and joins with your eye. Would love to see the Duckhams up as decals or model & if so I would like to be in the queue.

please show more if you have any different.
Okey dokey, ill sort some out. Have done quite a few to be honest.
Cheers for the comments everyone. Just wanted to show you my previous work but in computer games not models. Still the same principle just printing it out on paper not converting it to work in a game

Re: My new 6R4 project
Hi Nicky,
Superb stuff! I don't know how you have the time, but I'm glad you do!!
I've got Dirt, Dirt 2 and Dirt 3 for the PS3, but haven't got any of the additional skins. I guess they're downloadable if I ever get my machine linked up to the interweb?
No surprises but I would also be up for a set of decals for the Sanyo/ Comet car. The registration number looks familiar!! Must have been a factory car. David (Cowley); had someone else run that car before (or since)?
Good luck with the laser printer, and do let us know as and when you're ready to go into production!!
Cheers, Steve

Re: My new 6R4 project
Sorry for not replying to the previous comments guys.
Firstly thanks for the comments. If you do get dirt3 for the pc dai, let me know and ill email the files over as I havent made them available to download on the net.
Steve, Im afraid the skins are only available to download on the pc version of the game, which is a shame as I would love to see them on the PS3 version or xbox 360 version.

Re: My new 6R4 project
Got some news regarding the Decals by the way. They are printed and will be sent out over the weeknd to me, so will put a pic on here when I have received them. I have to say I am quite excited, and cant wait to see them as it is all my own work. Hopefully the hours put in will pay off and make me a lovely model
Just need a nice day to start priming the model etc.

Would be nice, its a shame really as people that are paid to do the liveries do make them in alot less quality than the ones I do. When I opened the computervision livery for the 6R4 and started to do the computervision font better, it was quite visibly better with the updated file I done
Re: My new 6R4 project
only just seen this now nicky, them are fantastic mate!!!!!!!! it must be great to play the game with such great detailed cars!!

Sorry for not replying sooner mate. I only came on earlier to check a private message I had.
The latest news is that the decals turned up yesterday from red firecracker. I am very pleased with them, and especially the service that Kelvin runs with the business. He explained a few complications with some of the decals and I now know for when I order future decals to be printed by him. I am going to try a white decal on a spare computervision car in abit so I can show what a white printed decal from red firecracker looks like. I will put a picture up in abit when I have done that
Re: My new 6R4 project
Here we go, a picture of what a white printed decal looks like. Have to say I am over the moon with it! No transparency as you can see. Cant wait for the better weather to come so I can start cracking on with the painting of the Rutherford car. The pictures below are just to show what the white printed decals look like, I will be stripping this computervision car down soon for another project in the pipeline
Just one thing aswell which im sure you can all tell. The logo is pin sharp, its just that my camera is so crap it is no good at taking pics up close as you can tell looking at over logos on the car in the image.
Also put a R.E.D decal on the mirror

Re: My new 6R4 project
They look excellent Nicky - you must be well chuffed! It's a little tricky to tell from the photos, but is the printed image nice and sharp?
I will certainly be praying for dry and warm weather for you as soon as possible mate - I need to see the finished result.
YES PLEASE to a set of decals if you do decide to have more printed Nicky.

David, I am so chuffed with the results. Yeah the image is nice, crisp and sharp. Its just my bloody camera thats making it look like it.
I hope it will be nice next week so I can get on with it, I really cant wait to see what the finished result will look like although I will just take my time with it
After I have done my model, I will then sort out getting a few sets done. Ill let you know when they are available mate
Re: My new 6R4 project
As David said they look excellent Nicky, and very solid white. If you do decide to get some printed I will definitely have a set please

Re: My new 6R4 project
Lol about your camera - thought that mate, but didn't want to be rude! If you're happy with them Nicky, then I am happy with them.
I cannot remember without looking back over the last few pages, but did you say you had sorted out what exact colour to spray the Rutherford car? Hang on a minute - did an item cutlery come into the equation, I think it did lol.
Fingers crossd for some good weather.....
