Bertie Fisher book
I have just got my copy and its an amazing book-lots of photos never seen before and full of little stories. Its well worth buying.

Hoping we will be able to buy the book on this side of the water without the £10 postage charge.

Re: Bertie Fisher book
Mine arrived yesterday but have only had time to give it a quick look through. Loads of great pictures in there, hope the storys are as good.
I dont know if it will be available in shops but its a massive book so I can see why postage is so expensive.

Re: Bertie Fisher book
I'll have to get this, was hoping not to have to pay £10 on post thought
I've heard there is a Frank Meagher book being done too, I think its different people doing it but hopefully they keep the size and look similar as they'll be going side by side on the shelf
On the Fisher book launch night there was a large poster of Fisher in all the different cars he drove, does any one know of anywhere selling them?

Re: Bertie Fisher book
The book weights 2.5 kg so the post is reasonable considering! You might be able to pick one up on the COI as I did hear there were a few floating about at Rally HQ in West Cork last weekend.

That's a lot of book! Knowing that and that people are so pleased with it makes worrying about a tenner seem silly

Re: Bertie Fisher book
Chris, are you going to the Pirelli Rally at the end of April. I'm hoping to get to the Circuit and planning to meet Fergus to get a copy of the book, could pick one up for you as well if that suited and bring it over with me.
David, it's Lorcan Barron from Kilkenny who is doing the Frank Meagher book, the plan is to have it launched on the Saturday evening of the Stonethrowers

My copy arrived this morning, I can understand the postage charge !. An amazing achievement to produce in just over two years, looking forward to reading it.

My understanding is that copies will be on sale in the Maldron Hotel next weekend at the Circuit Deja Vu event in Killarney as well as some of RPM DVD's.
