Rallye Islas Canarias El Corte Ingles 2015 Gran Canaria GT car heaven!

After Tenerife last week the second of a Canary Islands double header takes place this weekend on Gran Canaria. As has become a bit of a tradition Juha Kankunen and Didier Auriol are having a paid holiday and are both down to drive Citroen C4 WRCs alongside the usual Spanish ranks of GT3 Porsches.

These two vids are from the Villa Adeje rally on Tenerife which was held last weekend. If the events are run like this next year could be ideal for an early break to catch some sun in the Canary Islands!

I was expecting that holiday bit. Go for it! If the rally's bad you'll always have a week in the sun.

Last time was at this event was in 03 when Campos won in the 206. Roads are spectacular with lots of hairpins etc and not too bad to get around to different spots although some places you do need to get blocked in the stages for the best viewing. Certainly thinking off going back in the next year or so as those GT cars look and sound amazing.

For the record Fuster won in the GT3 with Martin in the Ferrari a close second. Kankunen was 4th and Auriol dropped out.
