Easiest way to strip models?
Ive been doing a lot of drawing lately and over the weekend I was felling destructive so decided to strip a few 1/18s to have ready to go when the weather gets better. So took them apart bagged up everything and took the paint stripper to the metal parts. Regretted it within minutes. Took 2 applications of the stripper to get most of the paint off but theres still a lot to come off.
Ive tried dettol and while it does work, its very slow. Ive tried Caustic soda and boiling water, again it works but I suspect it may have warped a bonnet on a car I stripped last year. Anyone have any easier ways to remove paint from 1/18s.

Re: Easiest way to strip models?
Hi Brian
I use a chemical called POR15,Although expensive item

cuppa is all you need once you have applied, then just rinse with warm water

Thanks Alan
Ill keep an eye out for the stuff here. Cant buy it online as the post office wont handle it as its a hazardous liquid.
