IXO 1:18 models

guys, anyone bought one of these larger IXO models? see a few appearing on fleabay recently, priced quite cheaply, but i dont know quite what level of quality to expect from IXO, i know they are best known for the wee 43s....? im presuming theyre above the likes of Burago, Maisto etc  but maybe not at Sunstar level, and def not near Otto, Kyosho or Autoart lol... any one know?

Spoken to a couple of people who have bought them and they are saying below Sunstar/Triple 9 level certainly nothing better and of course sealed panels. Was tempted myself by the Delta 16v but like thier 1/43rd version the shape doesnt look right. Will be interesting to see what else they come up with as suggestions they were planning a Mini WRC and other cars that no one has done in 1/18th so far.

just as i suspected then chris, thanks m8...........will give them a miss then.....unless as you say they produce something unique....

Will be interesting to see the non Altaya versions as and when Ixo get round to issuing them and what standard of finish/price point they are at.

Next scheduled part work release is a Saby 205T16 E2 followed by the Sordo Mini WRC...
