Peter Smith Russ Langthorne Opel Kadett

This is a 2 year old project which is now only starting to see the light of day
The original car was built and owned by Chris Birkbeck, but he sold it to Peter Smith where Peter and Russ did the 2010 RAC Rally

I was asked by Chris to make it and having tried to get the colour match right I finally settled for Signal Yellow then changed it to another shade and didnt like it.

I asked Cazzo would he paint the model as he has done a fair few on here as I just didnt have the time and the topman said yes. The model was sent and it was done in no time and sent back where I got on with putting it back together.

Then I seen the work of GMR and asked in an email if he could do the decals as Chris was asking about the car and Gary said he would do me the favour of getting them done as quick as he could under the circumstances and he has come through for me and i can't thank him enough.
These pics are the template decals being done while the proper ones are made, but you can see how finally this model looks and one word to describe it as Mint.

Only two as it was a personal commision unless I ask Chris if he would allow me to do more as i have respect someone when they ask for a model to be made

Truth be told I was absolutley gutted sending this back, In the flesh this car is stunning...Really pleased that you are happy with the car Mark and this is more important to me....
