  kubica off the road?

Fri 12:51 Kubica is confirmed as having stopped on the stage.
No information on why yet, but it seems his rally was over, just as he was poised to take third place back from Meeke.

Fri 12:52 Confirmation from the M-Sport team that Kubica has crashed out.
Both crew are unhurt but their rally is over.

Fri 12:53 Until that incident, Kubica was the only man on Ogier's pace on the stage, and was 11s faster than Meeke, his rival for third.

Fri 12:54 Kubica obviously went far enough off the road to disappear from following crews' sight, as Meeke's first question at the stage end is "where's Robert?"
"I saw a car off but it was down just before a bridge, I didn't know who it was," said Meeke.
"When I saw the car off, I knew it was one of the frontrunners because the steam was still rising, so I said 'OK, back off'. We're still here."

Oh no !!! feel sorry for him but again he pushed a bit too much , way too early !

most importantly..they both seem ok....   

[SS9] Elfyn Evans (Ford) - Elfyn Evans passed Jari-Matti Latvala whilst Latvala was stopped changing the puncture he sustained after hitting a curb early in the stage. When Latvala got going again, he caught Evans. Evans received instructions from his team to pull over and let Latvala past, however, Evans pulled over a couple of times but Latvala was not immediately behind him and so did not pass. Evans was upset that he lost so much time trying to let Latvala past.

Last yr with VW entering and good ol' Jnr Seb in the Polo and able to challenge FFLP [who sooked away before he could have a real challenger] has meant that this is only the 2nd yr i've been interested in the WRC since the conclusion of the 2006 season........getting the old feel back for what made the WRC great 10yrs ago..........Sat down and watched review of the '99 season the other day - was kind of amazing and sad seeing Colin; Richard; Tommi; Carlos; Thomas; Marcus; Freddy; Gilles; Didier and Juha fighting it out for the championship is true rally cars!

Seeing Ogier push to the lead; he truly is a machine - reminiscent of Makinen in a lot of ways I think

hmmm so thats bodyshell number 1 of 13 for Kubica

Oiger has been pushing hard all day and has apparently had a few close calls. Have a niggling feeling hes gonna hit trouble tomorrow

Depends if Bouffier pushes him. If his lead starts falling then the pressure is on and mistakes are made!

meeke staying ahead of ostberg is paramount i think...gotta beat your team-mate in the same car before you worry about the rest.... 
to finish first, first you gotta finish....
long runs the fox......
slow and staedy wins the race.....
more haste, less speed....

Just watched highlights of day 2, and boy is young Seb a lucky boy, in a field, up a ditch and got away with both! Love him or hate him, he's giving it 100% and it's brilliant to watch. Hopefully Kris can bring the DS3 home tomorrow on the podium.....

ss 14 cancelled due to heavy snow...... one more stage to go..........  

If i'm right in saying. Meeke has finished in third ahead of his team mate and Evans is in sixth.   

ha has indeed chris, well-chuffed for him with that result....    hopefully a great foundation for the rest of the season, if he can maintain a steady head..........   

Superb result for both Meeke and Evans. Lets hope there is more to come. Happy days

glad I didnt put any money on kubica    though Im happy to have the full season in WRC.

I hope Steven is wrong and he wont wreck that much bodyshells
