Roy White MGS2000
Some of you will recall from the old forum the fact that there were a number of disappointed collectors for the 20 made - actually 21 as Janos kept one for himself (its now back to 20 as one of the models has been "crashed").
The plan is to make a futher 10 with Rally Ireland 2007 decals. Firstly if anyone has photos of the car on that event I would be most grateful for them - Roy is going through what he has for me. Of the 10 to be made 8 have already been spoken for, so if anyone else is interested please let me know. They are being made as we speak- I have again made the downpayment - the delay will be on my part getting sufficient photos together. Price is same as last time €70 plus postage to me which was €2 plus postage on to you. Iwill not be getting any more done - maybe a "special" for Roy and myself for a significant rally but they would not be for public release. Its probable that Janos will do other versions. He is on facebook as realcarmodels.

The truth is I don't know. Gut feeling says two months but no promises. Photos will be the determining factor

Re: Roy White MGS2000
Only just seen this thread James, although I do only have myself to blame for missing out as I knew you were planning to have another MG S2000 Sport model produced!
Oh well, I've got too many 6R4s to buy at the moment anyway - the last thing I need to do is to diversify out into other MGs!

OK folks its close to rattling the moneybox time. I had an email from Janos to say that the models have been posted. Once they have arrived with me I will be in contact with those who expressed an interest.

Hi James, had been wondering about the timescale for the model but knowing I'm on the list, was very relaxed about it. Now I'm bouncing up and down like a Jack Russell with anticipation! Just say the word and I'll do the Paypal thing. Very many thanks, Steve

Just got an email from Janos. Models have been ready for some time now but his supplier of display cases has let him down. Will post updates as I get them. James

Hi James,
I'm sure I speak for the majority (if not all!) on the waiting list by confirming that we're happy knowing the models will head our way in due course and we appreciate the update. Don't worry, be happy! I feel a song coming on..... Cheers, Steve

Good news (I think!). Let's hope Postman Patski isn't watching the Euro footie and uses the models for practice!
Let us know when they're safely with you James and money will be exchanged. Cheers, Steve

Good news and bad news. The models arrived but the rally plate was missing from the roof. Did not have a shot from above so a sort of understandable omission. Models on their way back to Hungary for updating.
