1/18, AA Peugeot 206 WRC, 2005 Mexico Rally, Ricardo Trivino
Hi guys!
been a long while I haven't had chance to touch any of my models. I decided to start this long waiting project which I already have the base model, decals and tires/wheels waiting....
as usual started with assembling and the primer and color painting followed. also applied some decals but a bit confused as there are different sponsor logos on the car during the same rally.
I wonder which one I should follow with the limited decals made by the supplier as well?
here below are the wip's and last ones are the photos showing different sponsors applied on the original car...
started with this...
then....
primed
painted yellow
second color painted as well... then a quick mock up to see how she looks
so far the model looks
I increased the ride height a bit, shall I increase more?
need to paint the bumper
and these are the photos with different sponsor logos... I group them so you can see the difference of co-sponsor logos..
which day are these photos from any idea?
1st group
2nd group
3rd group

Looks great Omer. Id raise the ride height another small bit, but it still looks good as it is. I prefer the livery from the first group. The 3rd group doesnt look like a complete livery, so even though it would be accurate to the 1:1, it would look like something was missing

.
Tidy work again Omer
I'm with Brian it could do with being raised just another wee bit,
The front is good but the back still looks a wee bit low,

Looking very good Omer. I would suggest the photos in your third group would be the media day before the rally.

thank you guys for the attention and suggestions.
I guess I will try to apply the co-sponsor logos as well but some were not in correct sizes, so will see how it goes.
and I will increase the model just a bit more
and finally, Bob the masking tape is from Tamiya
will try to update during the weekend guys

ok, so I just tried on the decals. but there are 2 mistakes.
a- the POLIFORUM LEON decal is bigger then it should be. so, it creates a problem to line up 3 additional decals...
b- the ALIANCE should be ALIANZA...
what should I do?

ok, guys so, besides the red mud flaps, one more long waiting project was finished and would like to share photos with you.
any idea or suggestion on what kind of material I should use to make the mud flaps.... I would like to have something soft, flexible and not so thick...
all comments, suggestions and critics are warmly welcome...
hope you guys liked it...
