Originally I had hoped it would have been from last years Circuit but a clear picture of the bonnet has proved a stumbling block. Hence I am going to the Circuit of Kerry on Sunday morning to take photos of it there. That said if anyone has enough photos to get the COI model done then speak now or forever hold your peace.

I have been asked to get the model made as a special request and so I threw it open here just in case anyone on the forum might be interested. I had a modelbuilder lined up to do just 2 models but it has taken almost 12 months to get the file and that person is not now able to do it for me. So I am open to advice/offers from modelbuilders on here as to whether they wish to take on the task. If a builder feels he can sell 25 or 250 of them then good luck to him i will give him the file and the photos -I only need 2 models. As you have seen from some of the other models I have committed myself to - it will get done. I would prefer for a local modelbuilder to do it but if that fails it will go to Europe to be done. It does not answer your question Mark but for now its the best I can do.

If it's any help James it looks like a Spar shop advert on the bonnet, Mullan's Spar Armagh. Trofeu or Ixo base?

Paul seems to be on the money on this one - 10 models already on the "list". I have Mark 2's in my collection but it would not be a model I know that much about so I will be guided by the more knowledgeable on here with regard to the base model.

Once again the model is being done by request but the increasing interest on here is gradually turning it into a commercial proposition for any of the builders who might be interested on here.

I would take one from the Circuit 2012 and West Cork Rally 2013. Trofeu would be the best base James.

Would Carlow 2012 not be a better one to do of the car since he won the Mk2 Challenge........he didn't finish the Circuit

Model is being done by respected and experienced builder on here. I will leave it to him to make such further announcements as and when he deems it appropriate.

Thanks for the expressions of interest as no doubt their existance did no harm to the cause of getting this model done.

Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.
