A much more easily achieved quest is to find an IXO Eklund 86 1000 Lakes Rally 'Clarion' model Chris, and removing the tampo print and decals from it. Hey Presto, one left hand drive plain white car! Wink

The most recent RHD ones are pretty hard to find as well Chris, but I doubt it'd take 10 years! Wink

What's out there people are hanging on to, as they don't know when there will be another opportunity to buy some. It's a shame IXO don't release a plain white car as a general release like they are supposed to be doing with some other cars this year - I'm sure they'd sell well enough. Wink

I haven't, David! I was responding to your thoughts on IXO releasing white 6R4s as they are doing with other models. THEN I might be able to have a white Metro of my very own! Rolling Eyes

Please accept my full apologies then Steve, as I had assumed your "Yeah! I might finally have a white one!" comment meant that you had finally found one from somewhere! Embarassed

I reckon if enough people email IXO about asking them to release a plain white 6R4 - me, Chris, you Steve, Juha (16 times!) , Zeus, Andy, Noel,...

...then they just might announce it this year so that we can look forward to seeing it in 2023, ish! Rolling Eyes

Good idea about contacting IXO directly and badgering them. I'll do that straight away! I might do that 16 times myself!! Surprised

Or not!

In the mean time, I'll have to make do with knocking them up myself, stripping the paint off and using Appliance White from Halfords!!

Someone here was going to contact IXO with a view to a bulk order of white 6R4s once we'd agreed on the exact specification. I wonder how far that has gone?
