Many thanks to DAVID aka Cowley!!!
Guys,
I feel like to share this great support in between forum members and I am so glad I am part of this forum!
I would like to thank David very much for helping me out posting a model that I was after for very long time.
last december I found it on ebay but the seller didn't want to deliver abroad. since, it was close to David's place I ask for his help and he was so kind to post the model to me.
the model was greatly and safely packed and he did everything to cut down the postage costs from UK to China.
Once again, I would like to thank you David for your kind attention and help!
all the best....

Re: Many thanks to DAVID aka Cowley!!!
Omer,
You are far too kind!
I agreed to do it for you originally as I would like to think others would do the same for me if I was in a similar situation. Likewise, I always package people's models as I would expect to receive them myself. I see no point in someone moaning because the model wasn't packaged properly when it arrived, for the very same person to pack their models in exactly the same way when they have something to send off themselves - it just doesn't make sense.
I am pleased that the model arrived undamaged - maybe it was those three million polystyrene chips in the box around the model that helped! They're horrible little things when they get a little static in them aren't they? They were jumping around all over the place as I was trying to stuff them carefully around the model within the box!
My only concern was the aerials - they were OK weren't they?
Thank you again Omer for your kind words of thanks - it was not a problem.

Re: Many thanks to DAVID aka Cowley!!!
You really need to show people which model it was now Omer - especially if it was one you had been trying to find for a long time!

your absolutely right. only a collector can know what a model means to a collector. after waiting and hunting for soo long to purchase it is one of the exciting moments. but more over to wait for the delivery and unpacking are the most exited times. these may sometimes end up with a upset situation. therefore packaging is very important!
and you did a great job mate! thanks again. the model received in perfect shape and all aerials in tact

I thought it must be very rare as I havent seen one on ebay before, and I am constantly looking on there lol
Does look a beautiful model, I really want to get the castrol or marlboro corolla to go with the Fujimoto corolla I already have. Got quite a few models to get first though, an Otto RS200 and a certain model Sunstar are releasing very very soon
Re: Many thanks to DAVID aka Cowley!!!
hhmmm the 6R4 wouldn't be one of those by any chance m8? lol!!
these thiery corollas are very rare nicky, if i see one on my web-travels i'll give you a shout m8....i sold my fujimoto a while back, have a works castrol one, a properly marlboro-liveried one and the thiery one as above..nice threesome!

Re: Many thanks to DAVID aka Cowley!!!
Cheers lads! I am honestly humbled by all the love in the air this evening! Like I said, I only package models in exactly the same way I'd expect to receive models, and treat people in exactly the same way I'd expect to be treated myself!
Yes Nicky, it was 1/18th scale

It really was mentally and physically draining Maurice!
Re: Many thanks to DAVID aka Cowley!!!
hahaha
you guys already answered all the question while I was sleeping time difference I guess.
ok guys, yes it's 1/18 from AA and as Billy mentioned they are very hard to find on sales. last week I bump into another one which doesn't have any box and only delivered in US ends up USD35...
I have been hunting for this model over 2 years and could succeeded to buy last december in good condition and original box. so, it's all up to your luck basically....
