Hi lads..I was contacted by Kieran last Night in ref to a run of these models being built.. To be honest i was gonna do 1 for my private collection. I thought i read before on here that someone else was doing this for Kieran..Can anyone recall ? I am now in talks with him in ref to this model. A matter of curiousity would there be interest in the forum or elsewhere for this well known car ?

Yes Brian i love all this older stuff..some may disagree but they where real drivers with real cars..Not knocking the new stuff because i still love watching them..not just as entertaining..maybe thats the word im looking for...Alot of the older stuff seems over looked for some strange reason...imo

I think Mark may have mentioned about doing this car before although I could be totally wrong.

I'd definitely be interested in one if you go ahead with it

Ah Gary..You could be spot on there. Must give him a ring..Again as i said to Kieran it would be down to the interest taken on the subject car..This is to keep costs down for the man himself.

It'll take ages to build this model Gary.... you will have to add some damage and need rolls of tank tape!!

There was talk of this model being done a while ago but nothing happened, as far as I know,
If you are doing a run of them I'd love one for the collection, it was defo an iconic car from the old days "always the entertainer"

Lol Colin..2 secs with a 4pound persuader.. I was thinking an open door with Kieran pushing it up the stage and a rpm cameraman standing with plum trying to interview him..lol

One of the best peice of video footage from all the RPM dvds is Keiran drifting up through some corners on the way u to molls gap.

Im not really into the very modern stuff either. I think rallying in ireland losts its charm around 06/07. Dont get me wrong, there have been some great rallys since then, but i suppose i dont have the same interest in it since then.

My interest starts around the early 80s up to around 05. There have been some really iconic cars in that time that really said a lot about the rallying at the time. Your models seem to cover this period nicely

Chances Donie will want one when he sees this, Paul Nagle seems to have caught the collecting bug of late (he sat in the car with Kieran) and I will check with a neighbour of mine who has a 1.2 coupe. So thats another two if not three.

Cool James. You can let me know..As i say still having talks with Kieran..but on my behalf would depend on the numbers..Maybe target of 15 to 20 names..I would also need to check with my regulars..I know some will and unsure of others..
