I got decals from rennacance
From this car i put them tonight on the forum

No 1/24 but i think it is from a belgium rally

if thats the one, then mine should also be reniassance. I bought it from a collector on ebay and there is no name on the decals. so, I thought it's Reji...
seems like we both have the same decals...

what color is the blue?
is it MICA Blue? RACING Blue or 555 Blue?

Omer, I would have said Fina blue. Does not look to be either Mica or 555 blue. Seems a solid (non-metallic) blue and does not have the tinge to it the 555 has. Could almost be a dark version of French Blue.

Gee, that Telefonica Blue looks to be damn close. I would give it a try. I think you will be matching the blue to the blue letters of the Fina logo.

I will see what I can find at the hobby shop this weekend. will try to match the Fina color...

it's been more than two weeks I haven't done any progress on this model as well as the wheels.
earlier I have done the neccessary modifications to the wheels and already painted them. but had to glue the hubs and also lug nuts..

the wheels were off from Toyota WRC. but they were 4 holes, so had to change them to 5...



so, here is the story of the wheels....

first delete the 4 lug nuts and pull out the hub and disks. (I will be using PE hubs/disks from Impreza WRC)



then fill in with polyester putty...



some sanding...



drill 5 holes



try on the nuts...



and here is the evolution of the wheels...



and these are the latest progress photos of tonight...
glue the nuts and hubs and then fit the wheels onto axles...



here is a quick mock up to see how she sits on her new wheels/tires...



next will be decalling speedline logos on the wheels...

Amazing job mate! I know this model plastic made in 1/24, and it was so charming. Can't imagine the result of yours in 1/18. Kangaroo's have just started jumping in my screen
