Is it your first visit James?
I'll be there on Friday and Saturday, been there quite a few times since 2003.

Yes Juha my first visit with my trusty book. For those who don't know I have a Mad for Road book that I have taken with me to rallies in the past few years and have had it autographed by the great and the good. Currently 156 autographs. So Rohrl,Schwarz and Demuth are the targets for Eifel.
Pat Horan will be there as will Enda Garvey in the 205T16 and possibly one or two more.

I'm afraid the man above beat me to quite a number of people- Bertie,Colin,Richard,Frank & Mark to mention a few. Feels weird now but I got Craig and Jaffa to sign it at the Circuit 2012. Had a meal with Plum Tyndall at the Circuit and I had the book with me - he was absolutely gobsmacked.

Re: Eifel Rally
As there's is a lot of you going, anyone have a spare bed?
I couldn't find anyone to join me so I planned to sleep in my car.
I'll pay my part, I don't snore and I know the area.

Juha, we have nothing booked as of yet so there should be no issue there.

Boy was it worth it.
Sad to miss lurgan but seeing an Quattro sport at full chatter and another having an on stage race with Burkhart in an Ex McRae 99 spec scoob was something else.
Not much taking it easy over there
If you have a historic car you take it out and drive the wheels off it
Christof Klausner in his Quattro was a star Bring him to Ireland..

It was Steve Rockingham in the white scoob. Ex Freddy Dor car.
Juha,
When you took that shot of JOB in the white Porsche I was on the other side of the road taking a bit of video footage.
Great corner and some sounds under the bridge just after it

Juha wrote:Were you among those looking for shelter at the windmill on Friday?
I was at the windmill at the start of the straight before the jump. Some of the other guys were under the one at the watersplash.
The thunderstorm was mad
Fabulous weekend though and the weather couldn't ruin seeing all those GpB's, etc.

Re: Eifel Rally
Lovely shots Juha and Seamus. The red mist tends to come down when the "stage" starts. A number of cars off - incl one Merc 450 well off. Weather all over the place but it was one hell of an event. Turnout and variety absolutely awesome.
