Lovely model, that. OK, not perfect, the number plate may be, erm, less than 100% accurate, but I can't wait to get mine. Been on back order for aprox 18 months, maybe longer!

Yep, as soon as I've got my one, the front part of the roll cage will be coming out, the number plate sorted and the front splitter changed to the right shade with a suitable decal, and away we go! Mmmm!

The Harri Toivonen 'Unipart' 1986 Lombard RAC Rally entry has also been in the planning stage for quite some time like the Teesdale car shown today, but it's anybody's guess when / if that will appear.

No no no, keep it away for a while, I have enough to spend as it is.

If it does ever appear Juha, then I can see me listing my recently acquired PJ Code3 version on eBay - and quicker than you can think what Harri's actual result was on the 1986 RAC!

He was the last to join the cambelt club along with Sutherland, Fielding, Duez, Teesdale, Gillanders and Wood. Rutherford had already thrown his car into the scenery.

FAIL! I'd have had it listed on eBay in that time!

I'm not connected 24/7 on this forum. No way that Vitesse would have ended up in your collection if that was the case.

I'm not on 24/7 either - I just happened to be the first person to see the list who was after the Vitesse! If you'd have seen it first, then it would be in your own collection now.

21 unique ones required be it decals or models, not duplicating with different makes of same car on same event.

Ie PJ & Ixo Harri Tovonen RAC car only counts as 1 wanted although eventually both will have issued it

I haven't counted how many I'm missing yet, but it will be more than your 21 I'm sure!

I'm also pretty sure that we know more about this model now as well...

Missing: 15 (not including planned Ixo releases)

Some are easy to get (Nelson model), or to make yourself (Coleman Manx, various Llewellin cars, McRae COI, Toivonen COI, Wilson Portugal), or wait for a reprint (Knebworth Launch), or wait till it shows up on Ebay (84 York National), or just about feckin impossible to get hold of (LHD white, KMD Biggerstaff models, Gillanders, ...).

I can't be bothered to go through and count models got, decals got, models not duplicated, decals not applied, models not got, etc... ...it's making my head hurt at the mere thought of it!

I picked up two Clarion cars this week!

You still missing the 1984 York National car then mate? Sorry....

I suppose a Clarion car is a way to obtain this:

True, as they were basically a Clarion car without any livery anyway.

Shame that IXO won't consider anything below 1000 nowadays for a specific low volume run, as it used to be 100 I gather and that's how Andy had these LHD white cars made.

LHD Carion cars are good for Carlo's Toivonen & Arpiainen decals, Andy's Schwartz decals, plus any other Clarion adaptations for any other individual events.

...and to convert to RHD and use the LHD dashboard & wipers for other models.

My problem is I need more LHD wipers. I don't have enough Clarion models to go round.

Anyone know where I can buy some?
