See what i highlighted Billy. What i do is place cursor at begining of what you want to highlight, left click and hold and run over what you want to highlight. Let go and that should have a blue block over it. Now on the row of icons above , the very 1st one is a B. Click that then it's in bold or highlighted. Then i click on the end of the original post and hit the return key a couple of times to separate. Simples. That if you can understand my waffle Wink

no it doesnt seem to want to highlight anything down at the bottommof the thread, i wonder if the fact that there are spaces between the lines is the problem? or maybe you cant highlight a text retrospectively? scratch

Try another browser billy and see if the same thing happens there.

Anything like that is browser based so trying another one might help

ok, ok i know, me again with the same issue!!
right, now happening even when posting just text, when i hit return to go to next line, the cursor bar flies away up the page to text a few lines above...so i cannot see what i am typing on the bottom line.....happening at work computer too, a bit frustrating, mostly happens on longer posts, i wonder if this has anything to do with it, and especially if i leave spaces between lines..... scratch

Brian I think if the PM's are in your outbox then they haven't been read yet,
They should show up in your sent box once they have been read,

Any way of increasing the number of PMs we can have. It was possible on the old forum so im hoping it can be done here.

I am afraid there isnt No The limit of PM's for your inbox is 50, and that is the maximum the forum software will allow im afraid Sad

Brian if you click on the select box beside some of the PM's in your inbox you can save them and free up space,
I've had to save a load of PM's to free up space in my inbox and keep it at about 75% full,

I'm getting the same Billy, in fact all of the icons along the top of a new post box seem to be a different style. Maybe the forum software has been upgraded?

I also cannot see a flashing cursor line, so cannot move it back and highlight a word to correct it or to add a new word - but that could be my browser? All I can do is back delete from the end to the point where I want to edit, but that's not ideal as I have to type all of the deleted text back in again.
