Re: New shop Diorama
Just spent a couple hours looking on the tinternet for a suitable door that I can put in the shop diorama.
I found one then set about printing on normal paper different sizes till I was happy and stuck a "STAFF ONLY" sign on that then printed off in glossy photograph paper.
Just took a pic, but will put it on later today.
More parts found and i write a list what I want in it as i go along then ad more.
I need to design the counter and shelving too as I want parts to stand out right so they can be seen.
Bits like the pigs ears and the front spoiler and headlamps and stuff.
With the Escort notices i wrote them on flourescent cars, but i want this to be different so if I can print them I will.
I need to try and research again Motorsport shops so that i can see layouts for parts stands and racks etc and I would like a tyre stand with different types of treaded tyres and tyre makes.
a stand for bucket seats.
I am toying with the idea of making a frame up then make another wall so I can ad enough parts but not go overboard so it looks like a cramped shop as I have the customers to place about the shop.

Re: New shop Diorama
Yes Paul, still the 6R4 shop, hence Mark's comments about 'pigs ears', also known as 'donkey d0ngs', I believe!?
We 6R4 fanatics have a language all our own!
Good ideas there, Mark. Will be pleased to see how you're progressing in the coming days/ nights! You were up late last night/ this morning!!
Cheers, Steve

Re: New shop Diorama
Can't decide whether to make a shop front or leave it open so you can see better into it

Re: New shop Diorama
I'm aware of where you got the '6r4' wall graphic from Mark - clever thinking! - but a lowercase 'r'!
That is 6R4 treason and you should be hung, drawn & quartered for that!

Re: New shop Diorama
If i can get the old lettering off without damage i will change, if not it will stay.
