Not official Fords per se but Red 4T Sierra and the 2 Door Orion are worthy additions.

Was the Rothmans Manx Stages Cortina a Mk5 rather than Mk4?

What car are you referring to ? Any pics ?

The Cortina in the list is the Australian one used in the Repco Reliability Trial. It was sponsored by Rothmans and I got a model made of it.

Is this the car - LAT classified it as a 15m ( as if I would know the difference) ?

Either way, with the cheapest 20M (base) on ebay costing 80 euros and the cheapest 15m costing just over 70 euros I won't be rushing out any day soon to add them to the collection.

Thanks Speedy.

There were quite a number of Ford Yank Tanks used in the Monte in the 1930's, 40's, 50's and 60's which were obviously not "works" cars. The same on old Circuits but I would get more pleasure in putting cars of that vintage up on a display than sticking up another Mk 2.

James

#179 Ford Taunus is the Roger Clark & Jim Porter car on 67 Monte.

After the debacle of the 1966 Monte when the Minis and Roger's Cortina were disqualified, Ford Germany entered Roger in this Taunus.

I made some a few years ago for Jim based on a Minichamps model. Like you say I didn't know what a 15M or 20M was either. I found the correct models all in a shop in Belgium, back then they were around 30 - 40 euros each.

I might have some spare decals. If you do one its a 2 door car the Minichamps is a 4 door car. Easiest way to sort that out is the fill in the rear shut lines. The Minichamps is LHD correct for the MCR car..

To be pedantic, there were two and a half versions of the F2 car, the first RS2000 (as driven by Kenny McKinstry), the Escort Maxi, and the Maxi with the non-maxi rear wing used by Gwyndaf Evans (I think) in the BRC.

Isn't there two versions of the R2 Fiesta, a four door and more recent two door? There's also an R1, and don't forget some of the hybrid M-Sport offerings, the Fiesta R5+ and the R5 2.0

There's been three Fiesta R5s, the Mk1, the Mk1 Evo and now the Mk2.

Not an official Ford, but the G3 Escort.
The Capri Perana thing (used in Australia, or was it South Africa?)

What was the model of Focus used for a one-make series in Ireland? 2.0 Zetec?
Gordon Spooner Engineering had an experimental 1.8 turbo Focus as well, it did '00' in Clare in 2002, I don't know if they actually sold any or if any were entered in competition later.

There was a fiesta s2400 as well that a forum member did the decals for and the 2 door Orion with wide arches that one of the Irish drivers used for a while.
