Say what you like about Oggie but he knows how to win championships. Shame Ford couldnt see fit to put some money down for the coming years so think M Sport have had their days in the sun. As for Tanak very unlucky and wouldnt have minded him lifting the crown. Looks like 2019 could be another great year.

Tanaks day may come, it would have been a little wrong IMO though to have a champ who never all season had to sweep the roads on a Friday.
I love to see Ford success, but Ogier won this in the 3rd best car, when did that last happen? He's a class act. Toyota taking the manufacturers is well deserved too, Makinen is doing it his way, and doing it very well indeed!
Malcolm and all the MSport crew have done incredibly well, they have shown what they can do with funding, it a shame that next year they are likely to be back to the back with little more than pay as you go drivers.

Re: ogier wins 2018
We are seeing a true generational driver - certainly the only driver who scared Loeb (otherwise why hamper his 2011 Citroen WRC championship run? Why push to have him leave the team if he wasn't the only driver who could scare him?) And I note the only one who the FIA changed the rules for to penalise and change things up (more changes than during Loeb's 9year run). I really hope he can win a 7th title next year with Citroen (just to again shit over Loeb by winning titles with 3 cars ).
Neuville showed why he doesn't deserve a title and hasn't won one yet - fragile. Like Tannak only still in the title fight due to the running order. Seeing Ogier destroy the field in the powerstage where he wasn't worried about finishing order etc -> that was special and showed just how good he really is
