Marlboro Orange paint colour
So I have a set of decals to build the John Bosch Marlboro/Sony M3 but have been waiting for a suitably pre-painted car to add them to. Now Ixo have released this:
https://www.ixomodels.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2865
Ok so its a touring car but other than the rear exhaust and fuel fillers to remove it looks spot on other than the rear wing is white rather than "orange". In other members experience what is the nearest easily available paint match? Probably looking at hand painting as its quite small to spray.
Ta in advance

Re: Marlboro Orange paint colour
Hi Chris,
I can't help you with a paint match but I can suggest you keep rattle cans as an option. Have done this myself with some models in the past.
I've pushed the spoiler up front underneath by pushing the pins holding it into the boot lid from below. Then hold the spoiler in place on an old clothes peg or similar with two small blobs of blue-tac, one for each pin. Spray with thin coats, leave to dry and adhere to the boot (using the original pins which should still be white and thus the right size for the holes!!).
Hope this is helpful and I'm not teaching you to suck eggs!
Happy hunting, Steve

Cheers Steve
I've found a Humbrol gloss enamal which may do the trick so may go down that route.
Seen some pics of the Bosch M3 where the livery is more red than dayglo orange so may yet scrap the whole idea!
