John Price 6R4 colour reference

Hi all, can you help me with a 6R4 question?

What shade of red is on the John Price car if 'm using Carlo's decals??

Apologies for the delayed response to your post mate...

I have two JP versions to hand at present - the GB Models 2002 Autosport International Launch car, and a customer's model using a set of the Carlo Rovatti 2005 Jim Clark Memorial Rally decals.

The GB Models decals are a lot brighter - more than likely as they are traditionally screenprinted, as opposed to Carlo's that aren't - and the best match for the brighter red is either the Revell No 31 enamel paint OR the Tamiya 'Bright Red' TS-49 rattlecan.

I haven't yet identified the slightly darker gloss red that someone has used on the model using Carlo's decals, but when I do, I will be sure to let you know mate.

Which doesn't help you at the moment, I realise!...
