Paul Bird Banned for Two Years from Rallying
UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) today confirmed that rally driver, Paul Bird, has been suspended from all sport for two years following an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV).
The Cumbrian rally driver tested positive for benzoylecgonine (a metabolite of cocaine) and furosemide (a diuretic) following an in-competition test, after his win at the Nicky Grist Stages Event on 11 July 2015.
Bird, who owns and competed for the Paul Bird Motorsport team, has been suspended from all sport for two years from 11 July 2015 until midnight on 10 July 2017.

No Place in Motorsport for people that are under the influence of drugs or drink unless for medical reasons.............the sport is too dangerous ....... too fast .......must be fully aware of what your doing at all times
