An interesting subject, and some excellent progress made on it Mark. I am looking forward to seeing it finished.
Re: Rallycross DS3
This came from Kenneth Hansen
Hi Mark
We are not sure but it can be so late in March
Send me an idea and plan how it can be done and how we can be involved
Regards Kenneth

Yes, great model... and I was looking forward to seeing the 1:1 scale version rallycrossing at Lydden Hill on Saturday, but Liam didn't make it onto the grid. The official line was they were waiting an electrical component to be delivered but either it didn't arrive or it didn't work, and the car wasn't seen.
Pat Doran was there in the ex-Kenneth Hansen Citroen C4 he'd borrowed for the day, and that worked well for him. He squeaked second place in the Supercar A Final, which was a very busy and exciting race. Most of the other 62 races on Saturday were exciting too!!
I did have a chat with 6R4 hero Rob Gibson whilst I was there. I showed him the model of his car I'd made based on his last outing at Lydden on 29 August 2011. He was very interested in the model and how I'd made it. He already has a Computervision model (don't we all!!) and I pointed out the alterations I'd made. He was suitably impressed and kindly signed the display case for me. Sadly, the pen wasn't very good so it's not as clear as I'd hoped. I'll try and post a piccie soon, but haven't succeeded with pictures so far!!
Cheers, Steve

Re: Rallycross DS3
They're looking good so far Mark, will look even better when decaled up.
Are you doing the decals yourself or getting someone to do them? I wouldn't mind a set of each if you are getting some done
