Just seen this press release from the organisers of Tour Britannia - they are coming to Ireland!!!

Celebrating ten years of Tour Britannia, a new event Tour Ireland 2015. Starting in North Wales and running between 6-8 May 2015, competitors will be travelling to Ireland for a series of special stages and road races, returning to Wales for the finish. I won't be making the trip to Ireland but am looking forward to being regular nearer to home in the Mighty Metro! For those who don't know and might jump to the conclusion I'm referring to a 6R4, sadly, I'm not! I am the proud owner of a 1983 Mk1 Austin Metro Vanden Plas.

Have just got back from collecting the clear acrylic for my display cabinet's door. It and the MG Metro 6R4 display inside will be ready for Rally Day, coming up soon. Look forward to catching up there.

I think I'll give your kind (?) suggestion a miss!!

I've bagged myself a Tamiya turntable for my display. I'd hoped to have a Will Gollop and a Rob Gibson 6R4 on the turntable being chased by Rosie, Pat Doran's RS200, but missed it by a few pence over the weekend! Grrr! Maybe it's as well, putting a Ford in amongst the MGs!
