Focus base help needed

Is this
a suitable base for this?
Rear wing looks different, but rest looks the same (but I'm sure a more competent person will put me right).

Right model alright Ted!
Granted the rear wing is little larger than the real car, but it is the correct model.

yes ted thats the right base,built many of them. easy stripped too!! except the 7 PIRELLI decals but a little t-cut removes them.

Many thanks Niall, Paul. Looking thro' the West Cork Rally book reminded me that I have a set of those decals somewhere so I'll treat myself!

The minichamps Kremer model of the same car is worth a look too Ted, thats is what i used to make my model, just felt the wheels filled the back arches slightly more realistically, no big thing though.

Do they do a version of that Focus in red so i don't have to strip and respray it.
