Someone's feeling brave! Let us know when the pain subsides!reeft1 wrote:Thanks mate. Will try the draught excluders or tell the boss someone on the forum suggested she hoover more.....
There are self-adhesive strips with a foam layer on them which should work well as a dust-proof seal and might be worth a try. A good hardware shop should do them or a DIY warehouse emporium. Cheers, Steve

lovely collection Billy!
I also think that Bertby is the best display for us, unfortunately, not the best choice for people like me who have space problems

Re: How to display?
as with several of us, i've been struggling to find more room for the ever-growing collection....just a wee hint to help a wee bit with the Ikea Detolfs.... up til now i had thought the options were...4 shelves as it comes, 3 1:18's on each shelf =12 models..or add 4 extra glass shelves, 3 on each one = 24 models....
but last night i removed all shelves for the detolf, and adjusted their positions, each shelf 15.5 cm apart allows 10 shelves in total, giving room for 30 models, and still not too tight together so can all display and be seen clearly....
hope this helps...its taken the pressure off me ...................for a week or two!!!

Re: How to display?
Billy,
Could you let the tyres down a bit and squeeze another shelf in there? Just a thought, Steve
