Plinths/Risers?? Any suggestions?
firstly apologies on not been posting much recently.. been viewing more than anything the last while... even at times not even really on, just a quick browse...
Aint got around to ordering more glass shelves or modfying the new cabinet for the shelves to go on..
so was looking for risers/plinths? anyone ever came across them on any other forums or model collectors or something like that? to suit 1/18 models to sit on?
this is how the cabinet looks at the minute... i was looking to add more models into it, but without adding extra shelves at the minute..
thanks

stunning escort collection mark, not much room for the wee plastic mounts that appear on ebay now and again, i'm havin a wee think about how you could mount more, the mounts would need to be on thin uprights to fit between the cars, but strong enough to support some 1:18s .... hhmmm....

Can't you buy some Perspex and heat it with a heat gum to form a plinth?

Go down asda and get yerself some cocktail sticks here in the saucepan/cutlery plate aisle. 27p
They come in a black plastic and clear plastic box half an half. Use the clear plastic for lifting your cars and the toothpicks for them awkward modelling jobs or cleaning yer teeth.
