1/18 Citroen DS3 R3 Rally Car Keith Cronin Ulster Rally 2012

After helping Paul out with a few things for his 1/43 of this, I grew to like the car so decided to make my own in 1/18. Been doing a few bits to the base car and its nearly ready for decals. Just need to add some seat belts to the interior and its ready.

Heres some pictures of the model without any interior as it sits today

Paul (reeft1) has already done it in 1/43, so he might be able to sort you out with decals

Nice Brian - check out the A pillar before applying the decals. Looking fwd to seeing this finished!

Finally received an order of white decals last week so could finish this off. Wish my printer was better as the red and orange decals are off colour. Might have a play around with my settings but for the moment im pretty happy. This is 99% finished now. Ive misplaced the steering wheel but it will turn up in one of my boxes.







I had to make a custom roof air intake to match the DS3, custom dash and proper seat belts.

When the model takes that long to get finished it wouldnt want to be crap. You know the other projects that im working on for god knows how long now. Slowly getting through them

yep.....you'll get there m8 and they'll be worth waiting on i'm sure....

Looking forward to seeing another DS3. I used the rollcage, wheels and seats out of a Solido C2. Same kind of car 1/1 so it doesnt take much to get bits fiited. Just a shame ive had to ruin a C2 in the process, have a soft spot for them as well
