Lancia Stratos, Chequered Flag. 24hrs Ypres

Hi all thought i'd show one of my models i've built recently. Its an Arena kit which build up quite easily although the decals are dire!

I sourced some Chequered Flag decals over xmas! Bit afraid though hearing about how brittle these Arena decals are!
Any tips greatly appreciated!

First of all thanks for the great comments, they're much appreciated.
Rallycol, the real problem ones are the blue pin stripes they tended to just break up, and that was before I got them onto the model, treat them like rice paper. Try not to use any micro sol on them, although you'll have to use some for the black decal that goes on the bonnet to get it to snuggle into the vent. Again mine broke up so I had to touch it up with some black paint. If you look carefully at the pin striping on the rear spoiler you can make out all the places it broke up! Try not to move the decals around to much once you've got them onto the model.
Its a shame really as I think the Chequered Flag Stratos is one of the best looking Stratos there is, i'd like to build the Galway one but this one took the wind out of my sails.
