Ken wood MG
Hi again. I wonder if someone can help me finishing my Ken Wood model, the MG METRO 6R4, raced in the 1986 RAC Rally. On the side windows, there`s 3 stickers, and the bottom one, is cover with mud. So I would like to find out, what does it says?
Appreciate all the help given.

Well done Mark on the PSIMAT.
Vitor, I have a photo of the rear of this 6R4, and it shows that logo in the corner. I think it is the sign company that produced all of the graphics, so I will scan it later this evening, and upload it here for you.
Yeah I am also looking forward to seeing this model in my cabinet - I can't wait!

Re: Ken wood MG
Here you are Vitor - the promised scan, although it isn't quite as clear as I thought it was!
You can make out that it says 'XXXXXXX SIGNS' on the left hand side, but as all I have is an A4 colour photocopy it still isn't very clear on that. It looks to say something like 'Matter', 'Mather' or maybe even 'Master Signs' - the latter might make more sense, although at 1/43 I doubt you'd read it anyway! Bear in mind that this photo ISN'T from the 1986 RAC Rally, so I take no responsibility for livery differences between the two events.
NOTE 1 : On the right hand side there is a small Austin Rover Motorsport helmet logo above the MG & 6R4 logos.
NOTE 2 : On the rear bumper it states 'RALLY PREPARATION by DOM BUCKLEY'.

Re: Ken wood MG
Thanks again for the help. I just discover some new details.
Funny thing is , I already experience this, making a lot of effort for accuracy. Them, when you convert the logos to 1:43 scale they just disappear. I will follow the 3td option, David; by I believe nobody will read in 1:43
Anyway, if someone later wants to do this model in 1:18, the detail is there.
Thanks again for the help. Some development will come out this week.

Splendid! There will be a number of us 'pressing our noses against the glass' for this one. I've already got a Ken Wood Triumph TR7, so this would go very well with it, and perhaps a Ken Wood Mini Clubman too! It's a possibility.
A Ken Wood Chef would be too easy. Got one of those in the kitchen! Sorry, I'll get my coat!
Cheers, Stve

This is a Kenwood Chef, Vitor...
You will have to forgive Steve. I know the British humour is known the world over, but even us Brits cringed at that 'joke'!
No wonder you didn't understand it!

Re: Ken wood MG
Ooops! Sorry for confusing you, Vitor.
You may have been confused about the noses against the window comment, which is what I do if I'm trying to get a good look through a window, such as a shop window, a car dealer, or...... well, I can't mention the other one as the Exclusion Order is still in force!
The British sense of humour takes some getting used to. Mine more than most!!
Cheers, Steve

Oh there is so much more, better quality, and funnier British humour than Mr 'bloody' Bean!
