1;32 Triumph TR7 V8
A model i have been working on for a while; Triumph TR7 V8 - Ken Wood - Scottish Rally Championship. (yes another Ken Wood car, to go with the 6R4 and Dolomite).
As you can see it's not finished.
The body is sold by a small slotcar company called SMK (their web site is not up and running yet). In the background is an original Scalextric TR7. As you can see they got the scale way out - the Scalextric car is nearer 1;28th scale rather than 1;32.
Decals all home made, will sit on a Penelope Pitlane brass chassis, minilite wheels and a low powered slimline motor. Windows, interior to be fitted.

Hi Jexy,
Congrats on the Ken Wood TR7. What a great project..... and a crisp model. Sorry! Couldn't resist!! As a TR7 owner for 17 years (only sold my 1981 DHC 2 years ago as I wasn't using it), I love the idea of branching out into such territory. What a Triumph! I'll stop that now!
Any chance of a line up of Ken Wood cars when the TR is finished? I appreciate they are probably different scales, but there will be interest on this forum... not least from me! Cheers, Steve

Will do - the 6R4 is finished, TR7, half way and the Dolly half way, Rover SD1 (awaiting a new model) the final car in the Ken Wood tribute will be the Mini Clubman (he used after the SD1 no longer meet homologation rules.
Here's the 6R4 (Ken Wood RAC 86)
All the cars are 1;32 Scale - (slotcars).

Hi Jexy,
Do you have any shots of Ken Wood's Mini Clubman? I'm finishing off a white Clubman model in 1/43 scale (white metal model I bought recently) and I like the idea of 'Ken Wood'ing it! Some day I'll add the 6R4 to the collection - always loved the livery and I like a challenge!! Cheers, Steve

Hi Jexy,
That's excellent. Won't be too difficult to convert the Clubman model. I even have a decal sheet of red stripes of varying widths which I can use. Were there any images of the car from other angles and does anyone know the registration number?
Keep 'em coming! Cheers, Steve

Thanks very much for the photos. I'll convert my white Clubman into the Ken Wood car as you've shown. Any shots of the rear or any other part of the car we haven't seen of the car would be great, just so I can get the detail right.
How is the TR7 getting along?
Many thanks, Steve
