Paul McMurray :-( Empty Paul McMurray :-(

Post  Guest Sat Aug 18, 2012 10:11 pm

I have just received a text from Pauls wife asking me to mention to those that don't know.

Paul was hit by a rallycar today on the Ulster Rally and has suffered two broken legs
1 leg in 2 places and the other in 1.
Hes not in great shape and is in a lot of pain.
He is going to have an operation on Monday to have rods fitted to repair the damage.

I know you will all agree with me in saying to Paul that our thoughts and prayers to him for a speedy recovery and to his wife Diane and young son.

Thankgod it didnt go the other way in what has happened this year in Ireland.

I did tell Diane that I would fly over and mind his models and the latest is hes fighting with doctors shouting "Get that feck Lowe away from my collection as the ballix will have them all sold" Laughing

Take care Paul

Get well soon Paul!

You obviously can't get up the stairs so mr Lowe will have someone sent over... to pick up models hidden in your loft. Laughing

On a positive note plenty of time laid up in bed surfing the net and Ebay

Seriously though best wishes for a quick and full recovery.

Hiya Paul,

So sorry to hear about what's happened, but as you suggest in your post, it could have been so much worse! So pleased to hear that it wasn't, though clearly it was horrendous (and painful) for you! Glad to see you've found your way to the interweb despite the pain you're going through and I, as everyone else has, wish you a speedy and full recovery.

All the very best, Paul. My prayers are with you. Cheers, Steve

Jaysus McMoneybags hope your back in action soon, there'll be some amount of models built/bought while your laid up, poor Colin will be painting shells night, noon and morning to keep up with the demand.

But 15stone, surely the Mini should have just bounced off you and kept going Razz

I heard that instead of using silage rolls at chicanes they are going to use clones of Paul-far cheaper and much bouncier!
