80s UK number plates
Does anyone which font was used for the UK car regs in the 80s?
I've found a few that are almost a perfect match, but I always need to mix up 3 different fonts to get each plate correct, which is a bit too much work.

Re: 80s UK number plates
Hi Juha,
I've recently started using both 'UKNUMBERPLATE' font and 'REGISTRATION PLATE UK' fonts and by stetching the font slightly on my desk top publisher, I can make a good version of the earlier style of number plate. I appreciate it's not an off the shelf 'old style plate' font but so far, it's the best I've found.
Hope that helps, Steve
