well this will be fun..... wheels wrong and dash on wrong side...aarrrghhhh....

starting with this...(picked up three so two for conversion)


base plate removed, two screws and small touch of glue...

tub out at last


dash out...that'l be a geg converting.....


decals removed..


rear valance will need filled as its wrong shape....

Looking forward to seeing this come along. Have been meaning to pick up the decals. Are the doorplates printed separately too the test of the decals, or are they part of the same decal on the side?

think theyre separate brian, i ended up sanding them all off as i wanted a key for the new paint, so it wasnt as easy to tell than if id used remover instead...
dash is going to be a pain, ive a plain otto m3 which can maybe donate rims to this, but i was keeping that one for nesbitt car... so ill maybe try to buy a set of five spokes instead,,,

the red stripe is a decal but the gold seems to be paint....

sorry brian did you mean the existing decals or the new mckinstry ones?

brian the doorplate decal on new decal sheet is a separate decal...

ah great stuff. Gives me an option to do a different event when I buy them

cheers guys, like all these things the closer you look the more imperfections you notice, if this was a base with opening doors id prob have been more fussy, but as its sealed resin im happy enough with the end resul as she is...biggest issue next is the crap decals...not at all impressed with them and they werent cheap...theyre going to take some sorting...

yes it is brian although you could prob remove lights if you want..
front grill ok ...
