1883 Coleman Lakes Ascona

I am working on this one at the moment and I have all the logos and the rally plates done etc. Just can't figure what the blue logo in on the rear flanks behind the door and below the Cibie sticker.

Any takers?

Yes, I see how it might be but that logo is more white than blue. P R Reillys has the franchise for Cibie, STP so that why the logos are on the Ascona. Shell Oils possibly sponsored Meeke and Michlin tyres supplied too. Hard to figure out the blue one. Have looked at other P R Reilly supported cars of the time and no blue logo on those cars.

Not much help Im afraid but it may ring a few bells with someone.

Whats the video that the first pic was taken from? The Fleet owners logo does not appear on the Ascona in the videos or pics I've seen and I suspect that the is a Manta 400 from the 1984 event but thanks for your help anyway.

I've seen that video. The sticker could be a small P R Reilly logo as several cars from the 81 COI have one. PR Reilly also supplied BORG clutches and that was suggested too. It's not a championship logo.

There is a smaller second logo below the blue one and both are on Phil Collins Manta too!

rory do you mean the small ap racing decal on collins manta? if its the same as on his 1984 rac livery i can give you  that?

or do you mean the small square white on blue one behind front wheel under champion?

My best guess is AP as has been suggested earlier. On his 1984 Manta it is in a similarish postion on the car and largely blue logo:

There are similar logos on Fishers 1983 COI Ascona which is the same car and from the Meeke workshop so the blue one is an AP Borg and Beck and the smaller one below is an AP Lockheed.   Now to get building. Using a McRae RAC Ascona-the decals simply peel/scratch off and its RHD. Using
