And it's the same year that Colin McRae became the first Scottish person and the youngest to win the WRC Drivers' title.

I personally think McRae got full credit.

Looks like Ypres will go ahead but with no spectators due to the worsening CV-19 situation in Belgium. Muddy roads and no-one to push cars back on will make it even more of a lottery.

Monza will be going down a similar route I suspect as similar issues there and Lombardy where the closed roads part of the rally are due to take place is again the epicentre of Italy's problems.

Shame, but its no surprise, it could be a while to next years championship is able to start too.

Regarding the championship, I think if it becomes that they have to draw a line under this season Elfyn can hold his head high as champion, he has been surperb

Or if next years season is slow to start to use this year and next years results for an overall champ for the two years

i see Ogier has signed for another year with toyota....

Was watching the shakedown this morning and it was like being at Croft for the Jack Frost stages in February! Really bizarre to see the top WRC guys on a single venue! The road stages on Saturday will be interesting if this weather continues.

Gutted for him. Ogiers to lose now

Gutted for Evans, he has been excellent this year, the area that caught him was going to get others, and warning Ogier etc was a class act

totally agreed david re warning ogier, it was like a bottle and he potentially wouldve suffere the same fate as evans....ogiers to lose indeed....some serious surface conditions on day 2...

Respect to Ogier too, he joins Juha Kankunen as only the 2nd champion to do it with 3 different manufacturers

yep and he sounded quite genuine in his comments re evans... roll on 2021 hopefully!
