Metro 6R4?

Did the magazine version of this every come to see the light of day or not?

I seem to remember quite a few people were interested in this one as was I.

The 6R4 was one of the last models in the series to be listed Jim, and I think we worked out that it wouldn't be out till June / July time. I'm not sure the magazines / models are available over the counter anymore - so it might be subscription and email orders only though. I don't think they ever did set up an online ordering system for them?

You're not the only one that wants this model!

I was gearing up ready to swoop around all the local WH Smiths for you on a 6R4 hunt in June/July.

But I have not seen the Rothmans Escort or whatever came after it in any local WH Smiths recently. So as you say it might be subscription only now. You can get back orders from them so you could ask for some after its come out?

For sure they will all get remaindered at some point, just like all the other magazine series.

Some stores still stocking the models. Harrogate store had the Saab 96 in at the weekend.

Well I'll be down Oxford/ Cambridge way come July so will do a major search of all the WH Smiths I can find. Better go and see if I can print a list of all their shops in those areas.

You can still get this collection from the shelf in larger W H Smith store's. Sound's like they will stock all issue's.

Regarding the Metro 6R4, the release date has been put back. According to the last issue, the next two issue's are delayed by a fortnight putting everything back by about a month. The 6R4 should be on the shelves Thursday 2nd August.
