West Cork Rally 2019

Any forum members competing or spectating on this years event?

Its shaping up to be a cracking event. With the huge number of R5s in Galway and the BRC coming over it should be a great event. Hirvonen and potentially Breen should really draw the crowds in

Not for the first time in many years - current plans are to be in Costa Brava in a Beetle chasing up and down the mountains on old Rally Spain stages. Anything in particular you need ?

Will the model display be there this year?

Hi David, I have only had it confirmed this evening that they would like the models on display in the rally hotel for the weekend of the rally. So Yes all systems go!

Rumour has it that the rally will be very near to maximum capacity entry of 160, now to organise the weather....

160 in the main field, 22 Historics, 20 juniors.  The first 23 cars are all R5s, 3 Hyundais, 7 Skodas & 13 Fiestas

like James i missed this years WCR....i think first time ever.........BUT i have been reliabely informed that there was a fantastic Model display in Rally HQ........ .......thanks to Niall...........one place Niall did fall down was he did NOT fix the weather...........Saturday conditions were apalling..................So in the hotel was the place to be....... with the models......well done again Niall hope you have loads of photos up here soon
