more ads on homepage ?

ive not changed anything on my laptop but since this morning ive been getting loads more ads on the homepage, two huge ones of varying subjects at the top and now three large ones below the topics list....has something changed or is there something i need to do? i now need to scroll down nearly half a page to see threads....

ps theyre not relevant search-related ads, latest ones are for drones and english speakers....neither a common search topic for me...lol

I’ve had the same for a good few months now. Google also seems to be changing. I wonder if it’s connected?

Could be that the years subscription to remove adds from the forum has expired and needs to be renewed. As an admin, i cant see any adds so never know when its expired.

It will be the weekend before i can have a look in the admin section.

ok so this issue has snowballed, im now getting large ads in several individual posts, down through whole threads...as well as two large ones on my home page....??

Still looking into this. The company who support the software for the forum have changed the costings in the background.

In the past, we could just pay for add removal, whereas now it can only be done as part of a bundle which costs 5 times more than just removing ads alone. Of course there is some added features but dont use any of them here.

Im still looking into it but we may have to go with that bundle

as davids above brian, plus random irrelevant ads on individual posts too which is very annoying, the home page ones i could live with...subject matter varies between, model aeroplanes, insurance, ppi, ladies underwear, dating sites, men shoes, industrial waste disposal services, camera equipment, financial services,....etc etc....
