Back in the groove.
Well after my model breakdown and virtually clearing my collection I have decided to return to the fold. (oh bloody hell you say) I have recently purchased a few rally cars with three being MK2 Escorts from SRS models. Must say they are top notch models and built to a high standard.
I'm only going to do British and Irish models for now as I don't want to go silly and buy everything in sight. Once I get my PC up and running properly (after a major malfunction) I will try and post some photo's
Chris.

Re: Back in the groove.
Hi Chris,
Welcome back!
I've only recently re-appeared back on here and recovered my model-building mojo again. Had no mojo for anything for several months, but dragging myself out of that now. hurrah!
Good idea to concentrate on a theme rather than going nuts and buying everything in sight! Some of the thrill is the chase, I've recently realised. This is probably why I have so many models waiting for me to build them! Have just bought an unbuilt kit of Bruno Saby's Renault A110 rallycross car from 1977. Question, will I get to build it before the end of 2018!?
Good to have you back, so to speak. Have fun!
Cheers, Steve

Re: Back in the groove.
Thanks lads.
Got a little build going on at the mo. Not by me though. I've found someone who builds excellent models and hopefully should have it done early new year. Will wait and see how it turns out before I give anymore details

Welcome back, Chris!
I think we all go through moments of second thought, direction changing, and general lack of interest in collecting or building models. That you have returned is a welcome sight, as it proves you have your mojo back again.
Nice to see a little renewed interest in the forum again from everyone - it seems quite lively at present, in comparison to recent weeks / months. Long may it continue....

Re: Back in the groove.
Thanks David
Yes I totally lost all interest in the sport in general and in models then I went to a rally and watched Wales GB and something struck me. Mark Lowe also sold me a model which started me off again so I blame him
Hopefully I can steadily build things back up but in no rush

Good to see you back, Chris. Like any addiction, giving it up isn't a problem - staying away from it is
