Hi,I'm brand new to this forum, I'm hoping to put up some photos of my car collection and hopefully get some advice and knowledge on my cars and cars I am looking for. straight away has anyone come across Billy Coleman s mk 1 escort as I would love to add this to my collection, if not I might have a go making my own

I am guessing you are thinking of the black mk2 from the Circuit of Ireland ......it had a wide white strip back the bonnett, roof and booth door........have you photos to make that model ????????????? It's the mk 1 TIU 250 from the 69 circuit of Ireland, I have some photos and I have the Billy Coleman DVD,I've made a start, resprayed a mk 1 ,I've gotten wheels and bp decals, all I'm missing really are rally plates but I'm going to have a go making them, I'll scan the plates from another car from that event and try to modify

If the plate is fairly simple you are probably as well off to bite the bullet and learn to use an art package and redraw it from scratch(IMHO)

It is pretty simple, Benson and hedges circuit of Ireland 69 I'm getting Roger Clark car from the same event so I should be able to make up one for Bill y Coleman!

If it is white metal it should be easy enough to strip

It is (was) a plastic kit,arena models possibly, of pentii airikkla 1000 lakes 78.bought it off eBay a few years ago, ok condition, recently I noticed the paint flaking off it,so I've taken most of the paint off,hoping to do a circuit or Ulster car from the same year
