coleman porsche

guys, anyone on here completed a colemans porsche using arena decal? questions please...

1. what is the small white decal just behind the front wheels, between wheelarch and leading edge of front door? (my eyes aint what they used to be...)
2. i only see one name plate decal on the sheet, ie one decal with driver/codriver...surely there should be two....one for each door? or did they do something rare like put the driver on his door and codriver on his? the instruction pic has two names on drivers doortop...

any help appreciated lads...cheers

Cant remember the exact decals as im not on my pc but from memory they are the same as the otto model so you may not have to replicate them.

unless of course i had already removed them brian.................

seriously though bri, must admit i didnt/dont think theyre the same but the wee arena pic isnt all that clear so i do stand to be corrected lol...cheers m8

Cant remember for sure, and it may have changed on different events but it was 2 decals with champion on top and bilstien underneath that matched up with the otto model

I'll email Arena tonight for you Billy (had to get in contact with them on another matter anyway).

So they say but...... ive just taking a quick gander on the web and im really not convinced. I think its BILSTEIN and then underneath BILSTEIN it will probably be shock absorbers (but the latter is guesswork)

If you zoom in i think you can just make out the start of the word BIlSTEIN

This picture of a restored car may also be useful - there are a few Coughmans 911s on the web with the white BILSTEIN logo.

the decals are for his no3 1985 circuit of Ireland car, I see many variations of the car, some with the decal, some without, some with sunstrip, some without, between 1984 and 1986....still not 100% sure lol

ok ive rewatched the vid on youtube and I'm now convinced that billys car neither had the decal in front of the rear wheel, nor did it have the sunstrip, unlike his team mate beguin....of course I stand to be corrected if someone knows better lol....

Billy Coleman1985 Circuit: No sunviser - was carrying in-car camera for RTE (in a similar way to Ari Vatanen not carrying a sunviser on the 'Oh my God' Manx Rally). Rothmans Rally sunvisor on rear window though. Both names on either doors. Colour Champion sticker half way down front wings behind front wheels. Check out rallyretro.com
